As you will now be aware, i like to add some background music to our home made football video's here at the website.
I am still a novice when it comes to creating videos at our home football matches, but hopefuly you have enjoyed the coverage and short highlights from some of this season's games, i know i have had a great time learning how to use my video & stills camera.
In publishing some of our movies, i have learned that using a few of the music tracks has
been a bit on the naughty side, as youtube have flagged the background music copyright
warning at me.
In order to try and resolve this issue, i have been asking around within my circle of friends
and contacts for promotional music tracks to play in our short movies.

I was aware that a new young band of guy's from Campbeltown who go under the name of " A New Hope ", were just craving some publicity and they agreed to have their, Indie / Alternative / Powerpop style tracks, background our video's.
In speaking with lead vocalist Stuart McMillan & backing vocalist/bass guitar player Keith Gillies, the boy's were excited about the concept & new exposure for the band. Both are also backed by lead guitarist Darren Brodie & Peter Graham on drums.

Starting out in their school days in Campbeltown on the Mull of Kintyre the bands earlier days seen them support the likes of the Complete Stone Roses and Aereogramme in the local area.
Having reformed in 2007, this past year has seen the now Glasgow based 4-piece performing their infectious, dark edged, indie-pop fusion across Glasgow and the west of Scotland earning them an army of loyal fans along the way and recently leading to them topping the bill at Glasgows ABC2.
2010 will see the band release a new EP with more tracks currently being recorded for
a forthcoming album.

Bad News people, gig in King Tut's is cancelled after Daz (Drogba) Brodie fractured his elbow in a freak training ground incident just days before the big night! Trying to convince him to get his arm set in an L shape like Les Paul!
Obviously we will refund all of you who were kind enough to buy tickets.
