6. Thanks 4 that ED,

   Did'nt get home till 8.30am this morning, was working nightshift. Fell asleep on the sofa and did'nt waken till it was tooooooo late to go to the match. Certainly would appreciate the pics mate. Dont get much help from anywhere else ED, so thanks a bunch pal.

   29/7/2010

   Brian Kelly informs us that the Vale have signed striker Steven McManus. Aldo Mackin has also put pen to paper and re-signed, which is good news for the tin pail faithful.

    Jim Wilson informs us that the Vale have signed Stephen McGowan from Kirkintilloch Rob Roy. Lee Morrison & Robert Dunn have re-signed for 2010/2011.

    Brian also tells us that new signings are at pen to paper stage, so watch this space Vale followers.

15. Friendly Points Shared v Greenock Juniors

    Monday's game ended, 1 - 1 v Greenock FC.

    Voc goalscorer was, Stephen Mcgowan again a good run-out with more new faces allowing new Manager Brian Wright to get the right squad together before the Big kick-off.

16. 2010 / 2011 Friendlies

    Vale go down 2 - 3 to Lanark United.

    Thanks to Lanark Utd Football Club website and Vale's Jim Wilson for providing us with the full time result and mini match report after todays match at Crownpoint. Saturdays VoC goalscorers were Aldo Mackin and Anton Franchetti. After the match Jim said, "There were a lot of new faces but played well considering it was their first game together".

    Lanark's goalscorers were, Stuart Tullis (14, 63), Jamie Doyle (pen 37).

17. A lot of new faces this season, plus some old ones.

    On the transfer front,

    Crooksy looks to be on his way out.

    Jamie Wilson has had to retire due to work commitments

    Upton, Sinclair & B Morrison, likley to sign for Rob Roy.

    Craig Murphy away to Glencairn.

    The good news Chris Paul central def, has re-signed, we have also signed ex Cambuslang Rangers central defender Raymond Ingils.
