Football Competition : West of Scotland Junior Cup, 2nd round.

GONET NO DAE THAT !!!!

Keiran Downs carried the ball from his own half with 90 minutes on the clock. Clydebank defenders tried desperately to stop the striker from bearing down on their goalmouth. Keiran was having none of it and sprinted all the way towards Gonet, leaving the sprawling defenders in his wake. As the striker zeroed in on his target, he unleashed his shot with marksmanship precision, beautifuly in the corner of the oncoming goalkeepers net. Keiran Downs may not score a more important or skillful goal this football season. If he does, i hope i am there to see it !!. The Vale now go into the draw for the next round, which i will be covering, so watch this space. Special mention to Sinky, who suffered a bad knee injury and was carried off, get well soon kid, we need you on the park.
